Description

Our course is designed to instruct participants in the safe lifting and manual handling of loads. The course will also educate how to safely approach and risk assess loads in the workplace and beyond along with the different types of manual handling injuries and how they occur.

Our Manual Handling training courses by Olive Learning is mainly focused on the workers in the workplace who perform the task of heavy lifting. We have QQI (formerly FETAC) accredited experienced Level 6 instructors who will train about the consequences of incorrect lifting and to prevent injury at a modern work place.

In order to successfully gain a certificate of competence in Manual Handling, learners must complete our Manual Handling course online and then complete the practical elements of the programme with our certified Manual Handling Instructor.

The online theory takes approximately 40 -45mins
The practical session takes approximately 20 – 25 minutes.
