SOLAS Safe Pass
Our Solas safe pass course is designed to educate attendees on the correct safety practices to be observed when working on a construction site. Recognised within the Republic of Ireland, this course will provide participants with the core principles of site safety. Under SI291 of the 2013 Construction Regulation, Section 25, Schedule 4: all personnel working on a construction site are legally required to hold a valid SOLAS safe pass awareness card. It is a legal obligation to ensure all employees working on a building site hold a valid safe pass card, certification must be renewed every four years.
Who should attend
All workers in the construction sector, including apprentices, trainees and on-site security workers.
To teach judgement of unsafe or dangerous situations.
Maintain a high standard within the safety industry.
Impart core knowledge and understanding on site Health and safety.
Encourage safe practices in the workplace.
Create a culture of safety awareness.
To attend this course you will need
PPS Number / Social Security Number.
Two passport size photos.
A stamped envelope with your address.

Upon completion of this course, successful participants will receive a SOLAS safe pass card which is valid for a period of 4 years. Thereafter course refreshment is required.
